Biography
Jacqui is an Academic and Library Specialist with over 25 years’ experience supporting students at the University of Hull. She is currently writing up her doctorate in Education (EdD) looking at bridges and barriers to developing visual literacy in higher education. She is particularly interested in visual ways to communicate and visual expressions of knowledge. As an NVivo Certified Expert, and with her background in ICT Learning, she has developed expertise in helping students get to grips with technology to aid learning and research.
How can I support Learning Developers
Jacqui is happy to help LDers looking to developing their own visual literacy or who are looking at promoting its development within their institutions. She can also advise on how to develop study skills within curricula or as part of central support.
