Learning and Beyond
“Learning Beyond the Classroom,” explores educational methods that lend themselves to an environment that moves beyond the bounded notion of the classroom. We share approaches to incorporating experiential learning, outdoor education, and community engagement into our practice. This community of practice offers a space for us to collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.
By joining us, in time you will have access to:
- A supportive network: Connect with fellow educators who share your enthusiasm for trying new educational approaches.
- Meaningful discussions and a space to seek advice and inspiration from like-minded professionals.
- Resources and practices: We can co-create a collection of resources, case studies, and best practices.
We are currently in the early stages of establishing this community. Your involvement could take various forms, such as sharing your own experiences, contributing to discussions, or even leading a workshop on a topic of your interest.
The Learning Beyond the Classroom CoP is led by Jodi Gregory from University of Cumbria and Chenée Psaros from Queen Mary University of London.
