Microsoft Teams is used for discussion, collaboration and file storage within ALDinHE’s steering group, working groups and communities of practice. Using MS Teams will make it much easier for you to collaborate using threaded conversations, channels, and task management directly tied to files stored in MS Teams. You may find your group prefers to collaborate using Teams, rather than using e-mail.

Previously ALDinHE used Google for file storage. Everything is replicated the same in Teams. The way you worked before won’t change. You will access your documents within your Teams Channel, just like you used to before, if you used a Google drive. The only difference is that you will now use Microsoft Word and Excel, rather than Google docs and sheets.
All documents for the Steering Group, working groups and communities of practice must be stored within ALDinHE’s Teams. Please use the General Channel within your Teams Channel to store all files. This ensures that all ALDinHE’s files are centrally stored, accessible and backed up. Please do not store any documents on your own personal drive.
For Steering Group and Conference Committee, meetings will be held in MS Teams, but for all other groups, this can be agreed within your group.
