Thank you to everyone who has made #ALDCon22 a success. ALDinHE wants to be kinder to the environment and in place of conference bags & pens, we donate to charity.

ALDinHE, with your support from #ALDcon22 tickets, is donating to Cara (the Council for At-Risk Academics), a lifeline to academics at risk. Cara “provides urgently-needed help to academics in immediate danger, those forced into exile, and many who choose to work on in their home countries despite serious risks. Cara also supports higher education institutions whose work is at risk or compromised” (Cara, 2022).

You can read more about the work of Cara at their website and make an individual donation.
