Biography

 

Dr Julia Everitt is a Research Fellow in Education at Birmingham City University and has worked in education for 20 years with a background in educational partnerships. Julia has been involved in over 35 projects including evaluations, and consultancy across different phases of education. Current projects focus on doctoral education, research degree supervision, supervisor professional development and inequalities in higher education leadership for women.  Julia is the faculty lead for the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Practice and a co-lead on the BCU Community of Practice for Doctoral Supervision. Julia also undertakes coaching with female academics. Julia is the Editor for the Journal Transformations for The International Educational Studies Association.
