Supporting the Implementation of an Inclusive Education Framework Through Interactive Toolkits

Biography

In my role as Learning Experience Designer, I support academic colleagues in the development of their modules, with a focus on blended and active learning and inclusive practice. Prior to this, I worked in widening access at The University of Wolverhampton and with The Brilliant Club, supporting young people across the West Midlands to make informed decisions about Higher Education. In 2023 I completed a PhD in Gender and Sexuality Studies at The University of Birmingham which focussed on the visual culture of contemporary feminist activism on social media. Therefore, my teaching philosophy centres on feminist pedagogy, decolonisation and intersectionality.
