Biography

Ruth has over 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of teaching, learning, and digital technologies. She specialises in dialogue and conversation as drivers for learning, particularly in online spaces. At Royal Holloway, University of London, she pioneered the institution’s first online degree programmes, including the highly-acclaimed MA in Information Security, challenging traditional views of teaching in STEM. Ruth is now Head of Digital Learning Practice at University of the Arts London, where she fosters Communities of Practice through dialogue and shared inquiry to shape the future of digital arts education.
