Report of ALDinHE Specific Learning Difficulties in HE – Professional Development Day University of Aston 20th June
A big thank you to Ellen Pope at Aston for organising the venue and delicious lunch and for hosting and supporting the event throughout. Positive comments were made about the central location in Birmingham which was easily accessible from both the north and south of the country. We had a total of 41 attendees including presenters from as far afield as Falmouth and Ulster. Of the 41 attendees, 27 were in Learning Development and Study Advice roles, and 9 were Disability Advisors or Dyslexia Tutors, with the rest being a mixture of Lecturers, Careers Advisors and Mentors.
