EDI Working Group Value Survey

The EDI Working Group invites all ALDinHE members to participate in a survey which aims to further understand what EDI (Equality or Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) means to Learning Development practitioners in their roles and practice. It will also inform ALDinHE EDI values, which will be integral when developing support for members for their EDI approaches. It is acknowledged that definitions of EDI can be informed by sector context, so members are welcome to draw on their own interpretations when responding to survey questions.

A general definition of EDI (Advance HE) is:

  • Equality or Equity: providing the same opportunities for all
  • Diversity: recognising the broad background and experiences of individuals
  • Inclusion: ensuring everyone feels welcome and a sense of belonging

The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete and is anonymous, with no personal identifiable information being collected. Thank you in advance for your support in helping shape EDI for Learning Developers.
