Establishing faculty-based peer-led Pomodoro® online study communities

Biography

Having taught in FE and HE since 2007, I have recently moved into a learning development role. I get immense satisfaction from supporting students with their studies and I am particularly interested in helping students develop awareness around their own potential. I love it when I see the cogs in their brains start to turn and I know I have elicited a positive change in their study behaviours or self-belief. I have also really enjoyed immersing myself in the LD community. I have never experienced such a supportive, well-wishing, and collaborative community, and look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas at this year’s ALDCON.
