Biography

Ed Powell is a Study Adviser at the University of Reading. He received his PhD from the University of Leeds in 2015. Ed enjoys reflecting on his own experiences as both a student and a teacher to help students understand the demands of higher education. He has particular interest in how to teach critical analysis across the disciplines; using creative exercises and gamification to provide an engaging, interactive learning experience; and the place of learning development within efforts to decolonise higher education.
