Students as partners: enhancing employability skills through running transition book clubs

Biography

I have been working in higher education in the UK since 2003 after moving from Chicago to London. All of my roles have had enhancing the student experience at the heart of them and I am passionate about education, well-being and helping people not only learn academically, but to also grow personally and professionally. My current role at Queen Mary is to help learners make a smooth transition from school to university as a Project Officer for the Get Ahead Transition Programme.
