Kate is the Head of Learning and Teaching Enhancement at the University of Northampton where she leads a team of tutors who provide academic skills advice to all students via online and F2F tutorials, drop ins and embedded workshops. She also works on many cross institutional projects such as: Enhancing Student Success; Integrated Learner Support; Transitions into University; Learner Analytics. Her particular interests lie in widening participation and liaison/advocacy.
