Biography

I started my career as a TEFL teacher. After completing my doctorate in TESOL, I moved into the field of learning development in 2017. With my research and teaching interest in English for academic and professional purposes, I feel blessed to have worked at several specialist universities, including Institute of Ismaili Studies, St George’s, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University for the Creative Arts and University of the Arts London (UAL). I am an Academic Support Lecturer at UAL-Camberwell College of Arts.

How can I help Learning Developers?

I would hope to collaborate with other LDers on areas related to learning technologies and English for academic purposes (especially the analysis of academic/professional discourses). I am happy to share my experience of CeP application, and of my transition from TEFL to LD as well as and from an Asian HE setting to the British HE.
