Hi everyone,
My name is Yamuna and I work in sigma, the Maths and Statistics Support
Centre at Coventry University.We are delighted to announce a free workshop taking place at Coventry University on the 17<sup>th</sup> of September, titled “Enhancing Inclusion for Neurodivergent Students in Mathematics and Statistics.”
This event is held in collaboration with the University of Bath and is funded by the London Mathematical Society (LMS). The workshop will run from 10am to 3:30pm, with lunch provided. Travel grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis for those using environmentally friendly modes of transport.
The workshop aims to bring together specialists and HEI practitioners to explore how we can better support neurodivergent students in learning maths and statistics.
Invited speakers include:<ul type=”disc”>

Hornigold, Independent Educational Consultant specialising in maths and
learners with dyscalculia and dyslexia.- Dove
McColm and Louise Swain, Specialist Study Skills Tutors, Student Wellbeing
Team, Coventry University.We will also hear from practitioners who will share their experiences and approaches to supporting neurodivergent students in learning maths and statistics.
