Call for participants: Research project on neurodivergent academics’ disclosure

Hi all, please see the call for participants and all details below.

‘Disclosure Dances’ in higher education: how Neurodivergent academics navigate disclosure in university.

Can you help?

I am looking for research participants for a small study into disclosure in HE.

Very briefly, the study seeks to understand academic staff perspectives regarding disclosure within the HE sector. Participants must have been working as an academic at a university in England for at least 12 months and be diagnosed or self-diagnosed with one or more of the following: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, or Developmental Coordination Disorder. The study has been granted ethical approval by The Middlesex Psychology Department’s Ethics Committee.

Taking part would mean being interviewed by me via Teams at a mutually convenient time. The interviews will take place between June and August and should not take longer than 30-45 minutes.

If you would like to take part in the interview, please contact me using this email: Neurodiverse_Academics@protonmail.com.

I have attached the Participant Information Sheet, but feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Thank you so much for your time.
