Mindful movement for Learning Developers

An embodied practices taster session for the new academic year.

Event date and time: Tuesday 15th September 2026, 10.00 – 10.30

Start the academic year on a positive footing – join us for a 30-minute mindful movement session with Lisa Clughen (lecturer, learning developer and trained embodiment and mindful movement coach). Designed specifically with Learning Developers in mind, this embodied session will explore, through mindful movement and somatic practices, the following questions:

  • How can our bodies support us in the sorts of things we, as learning developers, will face in coming academic year?
  • How can our bodies support us with the different qualities (such as focus, presence, openness and pleasure) we may want to develop and embody in our work?

Expect movement, expect reflection, expect joy!
