Become a Certified Mentor

As a mentor, you will hone your mentoring skills while helping other colleagues to find their voice within learning development through being mentored. Our ambition is to support mutually beneficial professional relationships and bring compassion and generosity into our working environments. The time required as a mentor will be mutually agreed between you and the Mentee, but is anticipated to be at least 6 months. Apply to be a mentor by completing the application form.

You may also choose to apply to be an ALDinHE Certified Mentor (CeM) which involves providing evidence for two sustained mentoring relationships, one of which must be completed within the ALDinHE Mentoring Scheme.

CeM

The second mentoring relationship may be developed outside of the Scheme, but must involve a minimum of 10 hours of documented contact with a mentee or a relationship that lasted around 6 months. The details regarding the materials required to document such a relationship can be found in Appendix 1 of the certified mentoring recognition (CeM) application form.

Please fill in the following CeM application form to apply for CeM Status.
