EDI Seminar series: Disrupting the Discourse: A Blueprint for transforming learning development for the non-traditional student

£0.00

Event Date: 19/02/2025
Event Time: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Description:

This seminar explores a research project case study that applied Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality as part of co-creation within curriculum development. It created a dialogic space for critically reflecting on learning development and teaching practices. The project captured diverse perspectives through interviews and focus groups with academics and student partners. It was curated into a podcast playlist, presenting a dialogic conceptual framework for delving deeper into themes. A foundation was laid for heightened awareness and discussions around themes and issues of decolonising education, racism and how these intersect with other forms of iniquity as part of learning development practice.
