£0.00

Event Date: 25/02/2025
Event Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

In today’s interconnected world, the ability to think critically is essential for students navigating complex social, political, and professional landscapes. This webinar introduces the Academy-Inspired Question Cards, an innovative tool designed to enhance critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration. Rooted in the principles of Socratic questioning, these cards provide a structured framework to help students analyse, evaluate, and synthesise ideas across disciplines.

The session will explore how the cards address challenges in fostering critical thinking among diverse student populations. Participants will learn how these cards facilitate active learning, promote reflective dialogue, and cultivate transferable skills essential for tackling complex problems. Practical applications will be demonstrated, such as Socratic seminars, debate preparation, and reflective exercises, all of which support interdisciplinary learning.

The session will include a variety of activities, including a presentation, mini-tasks, discussions and some time for Q&A. I understand you will monitor the chat to note down questions during my talk, which is greatly appreciated.
