Are you a Learning Developer interested in doing research?
ALDinHE’s Research Community of Practice could be for you. We meet once a month online to discuss anything and everything research, to encourage ideas, and to foster collaboration.
To give you a better idea of our group, we invite you to join us for our July meeting. The session is entitled ‘Research Generator’ and it is an open forum to discuss possible research ideas. More details below:
‘Research Generator’
Got a research idea you have been pondering? Maybe there is a topic that you have been interested in for a while and not shared? For example, some of us often wonder if we as learning developers place greater expectations on students compared to subject lecturers and the impact this might have.
Join us in July where we will share ideas with the aim of finding possible collaborative partners to write the idea up into a #take5 blog, Wonkhe post, opinion piece for JLDinHE, etc.
The aim of the session is not to share existing research but to discuss new ideas.
To prepare for the session, we have created a Padlet where you are all welcome to jot down your ideas anonymously prior to the meeting: https://padlet.com/ralitsakantcheva/research-generator-board-p2f1wteewt2s36hc
