‘Goal Setting for Academic Writing’ is a learning sequence built around six short videos. Interludes between the videos present textual synopses of key ideas, basic comprehension questions, and brief reflective/practice activities. The sequence is self-paced and designed for asynchronous/independent use (practitioners are free to adapt the content for live activities if preferred).

This resource will be particularly beneficial for students who are undertaking extended writing projects (e.g. dissertations, longer essays, theses) for the first time, as well as students who struggle with procrastination, anxiety, ‘block,’ or overwhelm when managing their research and written work.
