Biography

Lee works as a learning developer at the University of Hull. He has a degree in Geography, a PG Cert in eLearning and is currently working towards his Doctorate in Education (EdD). He has a background in student engagement, student-centred research and volunteer development from his time working at Hull University Union. Lee is particularly interested in the development of critical thinking and technology-enhanced learning (TEL). His current research interests include learning spaces, methodologies and geographies of place. Lee is a trained PASS Supervisor, an NVivo Certified Expert, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.


How can I help learning developers?

Lee would be happy to collaborate with learning developers on a number of research areas, particularly learning with technology, critical thinking and reading. He would be happy to support learning developers with their use of technology for learning, teaching and research. As an NVivo Certified Expert and Microsoft Certified Educator, he is happy to support the use of NVivo and Microsoft Office 365 in both learning development and research contexts. He is also interested in embedding learning development into the curriculum, both with technology and direct intervention and would he happy to work with others in this area.
