Biography

Anne-Marie Langford has worked at the University of Northampton for 5 years. Her interests are cross cultural critical thinking, the role of creativity in education, critical thinking, and digital education in higher education. She is highly experienced in designing and delivering inclusive, research-informed interventions. Anne-Marie’s scholarly and pedagogic interests focus on critical digital literacy and the evolving role of generative artificial intelligence in higher education. She has developed innovative approaches that position AI as a tool for fostering evaluative judgement, metacognition, and critical engagement, rather than passive dependence.
