Biography

Natasha completed her PhD in English Studies from Durham University. She also read for her Masters in English from the same institution, and holds a further Masters in Education, Policy and Society from King’s College London, alongside a PGCert in Higher Education.

She is currently a Lecturer at QA Higher Education, teaching and evolving academic English and study skills materials. Her research interests include materials development, the hidden curriculum, and teaching through the lens of care-ethics. She is additionally a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy/AdvanceHE, of ALDinHE, and of BALEAP.

How can I help learning developers?

Natasha would love to discuss and collaborate on any aspects related to her research interests, or generally related to continuing professional development. As a reflective practitioner with a strong belief in building an educational community, she welcomes contact from others within Learning and Teaching.

She has also previously acted as Mentor for those seeking a career with EAP and applying for AdvanceHE accreditation, and in the spirit of educational collaboration, is happy to work with others on this.
