Biography

I’ve worked in learning development for around 20 years and am currently Head of the Academic Skills Centre (ASC) at the University of Dundee. Prior to taking on this role, I was Academic Skills for Students Co-ordinator and ASC Lead for Postgraduate Learning Development. In that time, I have delivered countless workshops and one-to-one support activities and have led and collaborated with academic and professional services colleagues on projects as varied as the development of online courses, professional body re-accreditation, and institution-wide approval events . In my current role I have also become involved in leading on staff development activities, including our taught and experiential routes to Advance HE fellowship.

I would be happy to partner with colleagues in any of the areas above, with particular current interest in leadership and management, staff development, and GAI literacy in an academic skills context.
