Biography

Angelos Bakogiannis is an Academic Skills Consultant (EAP) at the University of Salford and a Senior Fellow of ALDinHE and Advance HE. He is the Research and Publications Officer for BALEAP, the former Convenor of the BALEAP Academic Literacies Special Interest Group (SIG), and a BALEAP-approved observer. Since 2010, he has worked in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) across a range of roles, including Associate Lecturer, Programme Lead and Language Centre Coordinator. His research focuses on inclusive pedagogies, academic literacies, and learning development. He was Principal Investigator of the BALEAP-funded project Exploring Inclusive Teaching Practices of EAP in Higher Education.
