About the Events Working Group
The Events Working Group is responsible for helping to build learning developer (LD) networks across the UK higher education sector.
- We provide access to research-informed, peer-evaluated, accessible events and resources.
- We facilitate networking opportunities through funded in-person regional events and online webinars.
- We encourage knowledge sharing and practice on topics relevant to the LD community.
- We support members to develop new insights into current trends in learning development.
Join us
The Events Working Group is inviting members of the community to be a part of the group. We have a number of voluntary roles available. The closing date for expressions of interest is 15 April 2024.
Having a role in the events working group, opens up many opportunities, for example:
- Contribute to the operation and strategy of the Events Working Group.
- Gain experience in the planning and delivery of events, working with people from other institutions.
- Develop professional skills.
- Demonstrate impact for professional accreditations, eg. ALDinHE CeP or CeLP, AdvanceHE.
- Develop new insights into current trends and initiatives in the LD community.
- Opportunity to take responsibility in a chosen area.
- Benefit from knowledge exchange, share practice and influence how ALDinHE events evolve in the future.
