Biography

I am a learning development tutor at the University of Northampton, having joined in 2018. Prior to this I taught in primary education for over a decade, and before that, worked in the arts. My background connects with my interest in playful and creative learning and the use of technology in education. My current research interests centre on the teaching and learning of critical thinking, teacher collaboration, and active learning.

How can I help learning developers?

I would be very interested to support other learning developers looking to expand their range of creative approaches in teaching and learning, in both online and physical classrooms. I am always happy to talk about critical thinking – both as a general concept, and as something we explore with students.
