Biography

Clare discovered learning development when working as a graduate teaching assistant alongside her theology and visual culture PhD. She is interested in the visual aspects of teaching and learning, and the development of students\’ visual literacies. Clare specialises in working alongside non-traditional students, including those articulating from college or entering higher education through widening participation (WP) routes. She currently works with Access to HE students at the University of Glasgow, collaborating with colleagues in student support and WP as well as academic staff to help students become equipped to transition into higher education.
