Biography

Having worked with health and life sciences students for over 15 years, I can offer insights into the distinct issues faced by learners on health and social care professional programmes. I can also support development in the areas of student confidence, mindset and overcoming psychological barriers to success (e.g. fear of failure, writing anxiety, perfectionism). I am passionate about exploring lived experiences, especially in underrepresented student groups, and can share practice in qualitative research and supporting students from non-traditional backgrounds. Nurturing the development of others is a deeply rooted drive for me and my approach is compassionate and methodical, with an injection of humour.
