The Masters’ Dissertation Fair: reflection on impact and future development

Biography

I am an archaeologist by training and in 2021 I joined the Study Advice team at the University of Reading. My prior student support experience includes working with international postgraduate taught students in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development.

What I enjoy the most as Learning Developer is the opportunity to support students in developing criticality, gaining confidence, and making informed choices that lead them to achieve their goals at university.

My key interests in higher education include: diversity and inclusivity, internationalisation and intercultural communication, academic integrity, and development of student resilience.

I discovered Learning Development as something exciting to try; what has kept me engaged is the constant challenges and opportunities for learning 🙂
