Biography

Beth Garrett is currently the President of Northampton Students’ Union, having been the Vice President Education last year. Beth completed BA Primary Education and MA Education at the University of Northampton. Alongside studying, Beth became a research assistant with research interests include digital pedagogies, technology in education, teacher identity and Black students’ engagement with Learning Development. Beth also worked as a tutor for a number of years, initially as a primary tutor, moving into GCSE maths tutoring and, most recently, tutoring in an FE context. Most recently, Beth has joined the Office for Students as a TEF Student Panel Member.
