Podcasting and Developing an Online Community (Poster Presentation)

Biography

I have been working in learning development in various positions since 2011. I have previous experience in training and supervising peer learners to deliver academic skill support to students. I have experience training and supporting colleagues to deliver one-to-one teaching to students. Apart from delivering embedded teaching in my current role, I  set up and facilitate student networks. Furthermore, I create monthly podcast episodes on academic skills. I have degrees in English Language Studies with Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Applied Linguistics with TESOL. My interests include creating online communities for off-site students, designing learning materials and reading about oversea students’ experience.
