The Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE) is committed to representing and supporting all those employed in the field of learning development and those with an interest in the field.
ALDinHE supports and champions the work of learning developers through community building and practice-sharing, facilitating research and dissemination, and providing professional development opportunities. We also connect and collaborate with other like-minded organisations around the world who share these goals.
Learning developers work with students in an educational bridging role. They mediate between the knowledge and skills which students bring to university and the demands and conventions of academic subjects, guiding students to navigate their university studies.
