ALDCon22 open invitation for mini keynotes

x 1

ALDinHE is extending an open invitation for mini keynote speakers for our 2022 annual conference in Northampton on 15 June. Our mini keynotes are an excellent opportunity to lead a discussion about a particular area of interest in Learning Development and to network with Learning Developers from across the UK and around the world. This will take place during the Wednesday morning plenary and will run in a ‘speed dating’ style. We invite you to pitch your area of interest (1 minute) along with all the other mini keynote speakers, and prepare 3 prompts for a small group discussion. After 15 minutes, the groups will change and you will renew the discussion. There will be 3 iterations in total.

This session will be held in-person at the University of Northampton on 15 June.

We particularly welcome new contributors, including those new to Learning Development or who work in closely related fields.

If you are interested in contributing to the conference as a mini keynote and would like to apply for funding, you can do so through the ALDCon22 Conference Fund.  Applications to the fund will open on 31 March 2022.

If would like to be apply to be mini keynote, or if you have any questions, please contact the ALDinHE conference chair, Melanie Crisfield (melanie.crisfield@brunel.ac.uk) and the administrator, Katharine Jewitt (admin@aldinhe.ac.uk), and include your area of interest and a draft of your three prompt questions.

Please feel free to pass this onto anyone you think may also be interested.
