It is with great sadness we announce that our colleague, friend and all-round lovely person Tom Burns, has passed away. Tom was an extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life. His life was made extraordinary by circumstances and by dint of his own personality and spirit – Tom was a very likeable person with a wonderful sense of humour and had a spirit of adventure. ALDinHE’s funding call is now open. The deadline for applications is 19th July 2024. We have £5,000 available in funding, with a maximum of £1,000 per project, and this opportunity is open to any individual or group whose principal investigator works at a member institution. Each year ALDinHE allocates funding for innovative research projects that focus on specific aspects of Learning Development. Nominate your colleague / team for the ALDinHE Awards The ALDinHE Annual Awards were launched in 2020 to celebrate great practice and dedicated practitioners in the learning development community. The awards are open to everyone working in learning development. Nominations are invited from colleagues by submitting a brief (300 words) account.
