Call for Papers: the ICALLD Symposium-over-time 2025
Making cases for the role of learning development/advising in changing educational landscapes ICALLD’s symposium around the clock aims to create opportunities to explore this theme with colleagues from across the world. We invite colleagues to submit proposals for sessions that help us do this. This means we are not looking for presenters who share ready-made answers! Remembering Tom Burns
Tom Burns (1959 – 23 October 2024) It is with great sadness we announce that our colleague, friend and all-round lovely person Tom Burns, has passed away. Tom was an extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life. His life was made extraordinary by circumstances and by dint of his own personality and spirit – Tom was a very likeable person with a wonderful sense of humour and had a spirit of adventure. ALDinHE Research Grants – Call for Proposals 2024-25 is open
ALDinHE’s funding call is now open. The deadline for applications is 19th July 2024. We have £5,000 available in funding, with a maximum of £1,000 per project, and this opportunity is open to any individual or group whose principal investigator works at a member institution. Each year ALDinHE allocates funding for innovative research projects that focus on specific aspects of Learning Development. The 2024 ICALLD Symposium – 23-24 April 2024

Early bird registration closes on 26th April 2024 and registration closes on 24th May 2024.
