Bookings now live for: Raising the profile of Learning Development within our institutions: Strategies and Challenges
The Study Advice team at the University of Reading will be hosting an in-person ALDinHE South-East Regional Networking Event on November 1st 2023. The theme will be Raising the profile of Learning Development within our institutions: Strategies and challenges.
In light of recent conversations regarding the value of Learning Development (see Richards & Pilcher, 2023), this event will provide an opportunity for colleagues to share strategies that you have used in your own institutions to raise the profile and improve understanding of Learning Development.
We welcome submissions for presentations of various lengths on the following topics:
- Strategies through which your team has successfully increased your visibility in your institution
- Strategies you’ve used to increase understanding of LD practice among institutional colleagues
- Challenges you face to increasing the visibility of Learning Development in your institution
If you would like to speak on any of these topics, please send us a couple of sentences to studyadvice@reading.ac.uk
