About the Session
The session will discuss key issues regarding ethics and inclusivity that have emerged from the widespread use of AI among students. It will present pragmatic methodologies aimed at guiding students towards ethical decision-making in their engagement with AI technologies, incorporating Universal Design for Learning principles in a structured traffic light framework. Dr Davis will underscore the implications of AI on inclusivity and advocate for prioritising inclusive practices in the adaptation of assessment methods.
About the Presenter
Dr Mary Davis PFHEA is academic integrity lead at Oxford Brookes University. She has been a researcher of academic integrity for almost 20 years and is a member of the QAA UK Advisory Board on Academic Integrity and the Board of Directors, International Centre for Academic Integrity. For the past few years, she has focused on positive, inclusive approaches to Artificial Intelligence and academic integrity.
